It’s no wonder that Yamaha’s Pacifica 112 enjoys such sales success. At a remarkably reasonable price the guitar features a solid alder body, which in conjunction with the powerful bridge humbucker and two single-coil pickups produces an impressive palette of vintage and rock sounds.
The instrument, in a variety of stunning colours, comes with either a rosewood or maple fingerboard, the latter (112M) offering a visual contrast as well as a slightly brighter tone. Left-handed players can enjoy the benefits of this fine yet inexpensive guitar by choosing the 112L, which has a rosewood fingerboard. A smoothly-operating vintage vibrato is common to all three versions.

Back in 1990's California. Driven by the stylistic versatility, the high technical level and the artistic individuality of the local session scene, Yamaha Guitar Devolpement released the Pacifica series.
The current Pacifica still embodies the inspiration that went with the first custom shop guitars.
With high build quality, tailored to the body and stage-matched hardware and rugged features, Yamaha have managed to maintain the main reason that their predecessors were hand-picked: real performance!
